Please Democrats, Don't Use the Arizona Shootings to Be So High School!!

Even though I'm a republican (moderate at best), I'm not a huge fan of Sarah Palin.  She is a really good self promoter and did a great job of helping to get a number of house seats back on the republican side this past November.  But President Palin...oh hell no!!  However, for democrats to use the shootings in Tucson, AZ this weekend to slam her and put some of the blame on her strategic targeting of them this past year is ludicrous.  Putting images of targets and bulls eyes above the dems who were in hotly contested elections in November may have gone a bit too far, but to say this is what drove Jared Lee Loughner to start shooting up a Safeway parking lot is just nutty.

We have become such a partisan society who acts SO HIGH SCHOOL (even in times of tragedy), that it makes us look like a bunch of finger pointing panzies content on blaming the guy/gal on the other side of the aisle instead of searching for the truth.  How about researching the American Renaissance and New Century Foundation along with other radical groups, before placing true blame.  And this comes just one day after I wrote about the Brazilians acting like a bunch of racist idiots.  Boy, do we Americans have a long way to go.

Let's do some soul searching and growing up, and start acting like intelligent individuals who make up the greatest country in the free world.  Let's stop the hate, the violence, and the high school blame game.

Here's to a speedy recovery for Congresswoman Giffords and the rest of the injured, and a shout out especially to those who made the ultimate sacrifice on that fateful saturday morning.
