How China Can Compete Online with the Western World - Stop the High School Censorship and Let Your People See the Truth!

Even with its largest micro blogging site (Sina Weibo) reaching 100 Million users in just 1 1/2 years in existence, the Chinese government still insists on putting a virtual block of information when any hint of democracy is apparent on discussions between users of this extremely popular communication vehicle.  It's gaining quickly on Twitter's numbers, especially since the San Francisco company is banned from entering the country.

Imagine what life would be like here in the United States if our freedoms were controlled as stringently as those in the second largest economy in the world.  As Americans, we many times take it for granted how good we have it with our freedom of speech versus those who must voice their opinions in small group settings and with no documentation whatsoever.  Communism in countries such North Korea and China puts a serious beat down on their own people, and control every little step they make.

I guess all of the communist leaders around the world are scared sh*tless from the rash of news they see from the Middle East, with those Dictators who have been in power for years, being taken down by angry pro-democratic mobs that want to see serious political and economic reforms in order to increase they quality of their sometimes meager existence.

Give your people some freedoms and cut back on all of your High School censorship my friends from the East.  And just maybe, you can claim that #1 spot on the totem pole and pass up the mighty US of A.
